In 1982, in Ashes to Ashes, the road Sweeper was indirectly responsible for sweeping up the ashes of Trigger's grandad Arthur into his lorry, or what Del and Rodney assumed to be his ashes, until it was revealed Trigger's nan was married twice. The road sweeper was played by Terry Duggan.
